A Conversation with Ethan Nosowsky of Graywolf Press
Ethan Nosowsky is the Editorial Director of Graywolf Press. He is responsible for shaping Graywolf’s prose lists, acquiring both fiction and nonfiction titles. Nosowsky has also worked as an editor at Farrar, Straus and Giroux and McSweeney’s, and he has taught at Columbia University. In addition to Unferth’s work, Nosowsky has edited books by Hilton Als, Geoff Dyer, Stephen Elliott, and Dave Eggers among many others.
Nosowky will be in conversation with Martin Riker, Director of the English Department’s Specialization in Publishing. Unferth will later join the conversation to talk about the editor-writer relationship. Q&A to follow. Light refreshments will be served.
